Protection Error. Please restart Win95.

Self employed business man after a installation “QuickBooks Trial Version”.
Now cannot start windows. Black screen White words “Protection error. Please restart Windows”

Safe Mode OK Uninstalled OK the product

Reinstalled Windows 95. AFter Restart of compute Run for 1st time. Checking Hardware devices. CRASH
EXPLORER.EXE linked to missing SHLWAPI.DLL:SHRegGetusvalueA.

Off loaded SYSTEM.DAT/USER.DAT. ie removed registry files. Resinsatlled Windows 95.

Genuine 1st time install panels, but when restarted to configure hardware devices CRASH as before.

Could it be SYSTEM.INI or WIN.INI

I’m running out of ideas.
