Proxy Server 2 Auto Script

by martymailey . Updated 25 years ago

Hi

My setup is win2k clients, IE 5 in a W2k Advanced Server Domain.
NT4 server, SP6a, Proxy server 2.0 SP 1,
although has 2 NICs both are internal to our network, its just used as caching.

Normally clients can browse our intranet & internet using a proxy script address http://blah.blah.blah/blah. This is our international proxy server somewher in the states. There is then no need for exception entrys for our intranet *.xyz.com.

Using Prosxy server 2 client browser points to IP and port of the Nt 4 Proxy server. The web proxy Routing tab points to IP and port of our international proxy server. This works OK but for intranet access client browser needs to have *.xyz.com exception but back into browser settings.

Can Proxy Server 2 be configured to point to our automatic script http://blah.blah.blah/blah and have our client browser point ot IP of NT4 proxy server 2 without the need for exceptions?

Thanks
Marty
