QVT and XP

I must have posted this in another enviro. But; i have QVT on an XP machine & an epson lx-300+ connected to it. Problem is that two pages are skipped between prints and this is so much waste. The terminals having the same printer do not give me this problem. I have tried changing the printer defaults but nothing is changing; the waste is still there. What do i do?
