RAID help please…

i need help guys. im planning to set up a a radi array on my home pc. it’s running on a ECS motherboard with nvidia’s raid controller(nforce3 250). i was just wondering if ther was a way for me to implement this on 2 seagate 7200rpm 40gb hdd’s without reformatting/ erasing the disks.
