I have install RAS on an NT4.0 Server SP6. Everything seems to running fine
on the server end. I configured the modem & network settings. The modem
inintializes properly and the RAS admin utility states that it is running
and waiting on a call. I believe everything has been properly configured on
the server. When I dial in, using a Win 98 machine, it connects to the
server, but states “The computer you’re dialing into does not respond to a
network request. Check the properties of the connection. If this problem
persists, check with your system administrator”. I have been back through
the settings on the server & workstation, and tried several different
“tweaks”, but still the same message. How can I spot the problem?? Thanks
