RAS-problem using a modem connection

I’ve tried to a fix RAS problem on a WIN98SE PC with no success. The RAS connection to a NT Domain has previously worked normally, and then without any sensible reason (change in hw or sw), the login to this Domain no longer works from this remote PC.
The PC will be connected to the RAS modem, but the NT Domain controller is not found (error: “No domain controller was found to validate your password”
The TCP/IP network connection will however be established, but of course without access to the NT Server resources.
I’m able to login using another PC and modem with the same user id and password.
I suppose there is something wrong with the Win98 registry, but what ?
