Re install of Microsof Office 97 Failed

It was working fine until I decided to re install to remove Office Assistant. Then POW

All Ok until “Updating system configuration”
then ERROR “Unable to load ole32.dll vbajet32.dll or oleaut32.dll”

These files oare on my pc trwice one in Windows\System a 1998 version and
Windows\System\Dcom95\oldole my original version 1996

Something has replaced all my previous versions.

Any ideas
