Re Installing Windows 98SE

I had a data sector error and could no long boot to my drive C. I had a spare drive so I intalled windows on the new drive. I have fixed the bad stuff on my old drive but it will not Boot to windows. I would like to reinstall windows on it withoutlosing all my loaded software and data. Is this possible?
