Rebooting Problems with Windows 2000 SP3

While I am installing windows 2k sp3 on my windows 2k Pro, it is automatically rebooted.
This is always happened when the installation process check the necessary space after finishing backup processing. My C drive has got more than 1 gb free spaceand my ram 400MB. Please answer to me if anybody knows about this.
