Redirect parallel port print jobs

Print jobs are generated on a AS400, saved to the user’s PC in the temporary internet folder, and then redirected to a parallel port via a DOS batch file. Is there a way to modify this batch file to have the job redirected to a printer connected viaan IP address of a USB port? Most of the PC’s are either Win2K or XP. Thanks.
