Relay UFD drivers on Windows Vista Home

Have a problem where the operating system does not recognize a U3 flash drive. When I try to update the driver by targeting the search to the system32 folder it is unable to find the driver. Unfortunately I can’t find the restore disk that originally came with the Dell PC (user got rid of it). Any suggestions? Thanks.
