Remote Access Hardware for Desktop

by martyn.putt . Updated 18 years, 7 months ago

We’re looking for a remote access solution for a number of desktops we manage at various sites around the country.

A hardware solution that can remotely power the machines up (a la HP’s ILO) is what we are really after.

We have tried Peppercon’s eRIC cards, but they have failed to work for us properly, and even the manufacturers are a little baffled.

Can anyone suggest an alternative? We really would like to avoid software remote access like RDC, VNC or PCAnywhere.

Thanks!
