Remote admin NT server from Win2000

What’s the easiest solution for remote administration of an NT4.0 server from a Win2000 Pro workstation?
The administrative tools from Windows 2000 won’t work because the NT server doesn’t use Acive Directory?
Can I install the NT4 administrative tools on a Windows2000 machine?
