Remote synchronize problems.

by pbutler . Updated 24 years, 12 months ago

I?m currently running a Windows NT 4.0 domain at two different sites. The second site has just been brought up and is connected by a Point-to-Point connection with Cisco routers. At the second site I have installed a BDC with DHCP and WINS. As ofnow I can ping successfully from my primary location to my BDC at my secondary location. Also, I can ping my primary location from my secondary location. With this I know my tunnel has been created and is working fine. However, when I log onto the secondary sites BDC I?m not being validated by my PDC at the primary site. Also, when I browse network neighborhood at the secondary site I can only see myself. On my PDC through server manager I try to connect to the BDC at the secondary sit and I get ?The network path is not found? error. My question is am I missing some setting in NT that is not allowing me to synchronize with my BDC and the remote site? The error at the remote site I?m getting is Event ID 5719 netlogon
No WindowsNT Domain Controller is available for domain domain name.
