Removable Storage Problem in NT

I have NT 4 Workstation and a Hard Drive Craddle for use different Hard Drives, my systems use a dual boot Win98/NT; In 98 the drive is registered as removable and not problems arrise from it, in NT however no.

Can someone tell how I can tell NT to reconised as an removable Hot Swappable Drive?
