Removal of option from Boot startup Menu

Hello
I want to ask a question regarding the uninstallation of Windows XP(Installed with New Installation option) on a pc having dual boot options i.e win 98SE and Win XP. When win XP is uninstalled from that pc under this configuration,
even thenthe sytsem asks for the options? for boot whether from Win98 or winXP, I mean in the boot welcome screen the option of selection of Boot with Win XP still appears even after the uninstallation of win XP. How can I remove windows XP option from the boot option menu at the startup of the windows after uninstalling the Win XP from the PC?
