Remove C$ share permanently

by edwin punzalan . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

Hi. My laptop computer is pre-installed a Windows 2000 Professional. The OS is great because I don’t get the usual “blue screen of death” in my previous Windows 98 desktop. However, most of my colleagues can open my C$ because my password is very much known. So what I always do is remove the C$ share upon startup.

Is there a way to permanently remove the C$ share so I won’t have to remove it every I boot up?
