remove HDD on NEC M300 laptop

Hi All,

I have a NEC Versa M300 laptop, and I would love to be able to remove the HDD, but I cannot work out how to get the case apart to get it out. It doesn’t have a removable cover that gives easy access to the HDD – you need to split the case.

I have removed the screws from the case, but there is something else holding it.

I know there is a trick to it, but I don’t know the trick. I shall keep trying, but if anyone has knowledge of the way to open the case of a NEC M300 laptop, I would really appreciate the knowledge.
