Remove Programs from Windows Start Up

I often encounter many weird thinks starting up when Windows comes up. I have reviewed the contents of the “Start Up Folder” Like Find Fast, Office Tool Bar, etc but many things that fire off aren’t in here.
Where are they and how do I get rid of them
