Remove systray icons (programs)

When I installed some programs like realaudio, audiogalaxy, IM, Panda they are put in the sys tray on button right of screen. How can I delete these. I looked for some kind of startup folder but could not find the icons or programs. I found office 2000. It seems it takes so long for my laptop to boot up with all these loading.
