Removed network adapters

I have a win2K machine I used at one time for ICS network in my home. I then purchased a router and used it for awhile. I now am back to the old ICS senerio and can not get it to work. I re-installed the network adapter I removed and Win2K recognized it as a new adapter. I now have conflicting adapter profiles in the registery and ICS will not run. What registery entries can be deleted to get back to square one?
