Removing DNS Server Tips

In a Windows 2000 environment, I want to remove DNS from a server that is one of three domain controllers running active directory – intergrated with dynamic updates. I removed all references to this server as a DNS server in DHCP and on static IP workstations. At this point, to remove the DNS server, do I just uninstall DNS? Any tips?
