PC environmnet: Win NT v4.0 SP5, Creative Live, Iomega 650 CR-RW, HP TR4 Tape, Jaz 1gb, Zip 100, 20gm HD, 60gb hd, maybe other hdw/sftw that makes a difference.
A few days ago I got tired (again) of RealPlayer “doing it’s thing” so I deinstalled everythig I could find from Control Pannel, Add/Remove. I checked the registry (still have some RealAudio and such but not sure I can/should delete them so …). Now when I login I get this message … Cannot find the file ‘C:\Program Files\Real\RealJukebox\tsystray.exe’ (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename ae correct and that all required libraries are available. …
Admin gets it also so not just 1 user. I also get what looks like ‘part’ of a Win Explorer Window looking at C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32, but only File, Edit, View and Help on tool bar. Other startup elements won’t start until I respond to ..\tsystray.exe message. Win Explorer win stays after OK.
I am guessing that there is a application IE, Netscape,CD Player, etc. that has a reference that is trying to activate, but …
Any ideas where / how to find / fix?
