Repairing a IBM Think Pad I series

Hi I’ve a 4 year old IBM Think Pad I series laptop, I’ve damaged the power socket to the motherboard, I cannot remove the case in order replace the socket, any body know where I can get a service manual or a description of how to take the case apart.
Help the battery is flat and I need to get data off the hard disk
