Request is out-of-date?

Exchange 5.5, Outlook 2000

User is receiving a meeting request with a banner across the top with yellow ! symbol that states “Request is out-of-date” She is not using Microsoft scheduler but she does accept meeting for a couple different managers.

Why is she receiving this message?
