Required Media Missing ?

When performing Win2k file backup to tape
using backup wizard, encountered ‘Required Media Missing’.

The explanation is :
There is no unused media available with the
selected type.
Add unused media or click Cancel to select another type.

So, what is unused media and how to add one ?
