Restore Exchange – Please Help

I’ve been trying to restore a backup information store from a tape backup on “server1” to a freshly built “server2”. I’ve followed to the “T” the instructions, I’ve worked through all of the errors with site and org name. I’m using veritas backup exec, the restore goes to 99% then dies after about 39mins. The log file says that connection to the restore server was lost!! Please help.
