Restore XP from old drive to newer drive

HELP!!!
Installed a larger hard drive some time ago and it appears that not all of the Win XP was copied over during the process. Having trouble with all MS office stuff (gets an Installer error? when you open any of the programs.)
And also wont install/remove programs properly. Lots of little issues too. I am hoping that a proper restore/repair??? will allow me to keep everything already installed on the new drive. I have the old OEM drive intact in a safe place. Sorry I do not have the Disks. The pc was purchased from a company that upgraded its equipment. The case does have the windows stickers and such and I never had any problems when I use to update the old drive thru Microsoft online. I can reinstall the old drive in the case easily enough as the slave or master or whatever it takes but dont know where to go from there!!
ANY HELP would be appreciated.
Thanks
