Restrict PC from XP drive

I have 5 Machines working in a workgroup. The main machine I have changed over to XP Pro and is the Main machine for Our shared Internet access. In Windows 98 I was able password protect the drive on that machine to limit access and only let in certain machines. How do I duplicate that in XP Pro? Any help wuld be appreciated
