rookie needs CGI/Form help

i have no problem telling you that i am an extreme rookie at building webpages. i have a pretty basic/primitive personal webpage that i maintain through frontpage. i would like to add a guest book, or even better, a forum of sorts like the one here on this site; but i lack the knowledge of how to get that to work. if anyone could help me out here with making this page, i would be forever grateful.
