routeing ,tables ,more info

we have a 100 plus users with 3 sites ,
we were haveing problems with one site connecting to proxy server until a consultant came in and used the route command on one of our NT boxes , i’ve tried to find info on this command , but maybe i’m not looking in the right place , could use some help in finding info on this command so if i run into a problem i can find out what this guy did,and won’t have to pay he again
