RPC Stub version error in IE

Greetings,

Suddenly, when I try to print from IE 5.5 SP2, I get a script error saying I have an incompatible version of the rpc stub. I’ve checked out Technet, to no avail. There they mention the error in relation to a general Windows error relating to the Windows Installer.

I’ve reinstalled IE SP2 and also did a repair on Office 2000 (in the Technet article mentioned above, it referenced Office 2000 so I thought I’d give it a try). Either way, it didn’t help.
