run time error in search engines?

I have a user in another office who is having a problem with search engines. He gets a message– “a run time error message has occurred” Do you wish to debug? Line 95 Error: Object expected — when trying to search. He says he gets this on iwon, msn, and yahoo. In msn, he says that most of the time he DOES get the results, but iwon tends to crash. Any suggestions?

Some (hopefully) relevant info – he’s running WinXP pro on a new Dell machine with 128 Meg RAM, IE6. It’s a dial-up connection through a shareware proxy program on the server (while we wait for DSL to be installed). He has no problem getting to the search engines, only when he tries a search does he get this error. He said sometimes it is Line 11, sometimes 95. Anyadvice or recommendations would be appreciated.
