running 2 sata hd with windows xp installed in each hd in one pc

Windows xp crashed many times. There were faulty memory sticks. But before I bought new memory ,I bought another sata hd and installed windows xp again. Windows continued freezing. Later, I discoverd the problem was a memory stick faulty.
Now, I would like to know if it is possible to install these 2 hd each one with a windows xp sp 2 already installed in one pc. And what kind of raid? Or if I can boot any hd that contains dif programs each one.
