Running a Large Printer off a Laptop

I have a brand new DELL Laptop, with 128MB RAM, running Windows 98. Can I Run a Large Print/Fax/Copy printer off of it, with just the Associated Driver? It will be an HP Product.

also, will I need to buy a different connecton cable than comes with it?
