Running Cat V over 600 feet

What kind of symptoms will I experience if I connect a W98 user via CAT V cable to the Network Server (Novell 4.1 and NT4.0).
What activity will I see at the hub and what activity will I see at the client end.
The cable is run just over 600 feet.

Any comments would be appreciated.
