salvaging a hard drive from an mp3 player

ok so i have a broken sanyo mp3 player (it is permanently “waiting”) which has a 6gb seagate hard drive inside. it seems a shame to throw away 6gb of storage space, so i took out the hard drive, but have no idea how to connect it to a computer (preferably without taking the computer to bits as its a laptop) so usb solutions or similar are preferable
