We use SAMBA to connect to a Linux server on laptops running W2K Pro. When I log in as an “Administrator” to the windows NT domain, the linux server prompts me to enter my linux username and password and I get in fine. From there I have access to all folders and resources given to my username.
But when I log in as a domain user(my username) using the W2K laptop on to the NT domain, the linux server doesn’t ask me to enter my username and password like it did previously but I have only access to some folders on the linux server.
Sounds to me that my username have to be included in the Administrators group?…any ides?
