Sasser on unformatted hard drive

A customer brought his computer to me that had been running Windows XP Pro. He had Sasser, and thought Fdisk’ing would solve the problem. Now the HDD is unformatted, and I can’t get it to boot either from MS’s setup floppies or the CD-ROM. As usual, it reboots continually. How do I manage to get into this drive to get rid of Sasser? Is there a DOS Sasser fix?
