SATA DVD-RW Windows XP – System.ini missing or corrupt

Hi,

I’ve installed a sata dvd-rw into a PC with 2 ide drives.

Since installing the drive I get the dreaded System.ini missing or corrupt error, but this intermitent. It sometimes starts no problem. If I disable the drive it works fine. I reinstalled xp from the drive with no problem, but then the start up error still occurs. Any suggestions?
