SATA HDD as simple volume

My new WD 2500KS 250 GB HDD will only recgonize as a simple volume. disk amnegment will only allow for this wont allow a partition, I added to a system with a WD 2500JS already installed Intel DG965 with 2 GB ram

Update appologize for this i was using command line diskpart program and partition magic and was unsuccessful but windows installer fixed the problem
