SATA HDD wont boot

by jdizzyl . Updated 19 years ago

I installed a WD 250G SATA with 2 WD 80G HDD’s that were my C and F drive. I made a mirror image of my C using ACRONUS, and put it on my SATA because as i understand it the sata has to be MASTER. However, once i did that the SATA would not boot, and the original C would not boot. My asus p5vd2-mx se does recognize all the drives, and the motherboard is new.I did A clean install of WINXP. I have downloaded the drivers for the motherboard and without the 2nd IDE HDD in, the SATA booted. Once i hooked up the 2nd IDE HDD it has not booted since and that was last night. Enyone?????
