Saving jpeg file with MS Paint

Two users installed MS Photo Editor (Office 2000). One has Win98se, the other Win2000. Now they can’t save files in jpeg format with MS Paint. I have installed all Office 2000 converters and filters (see MS topic Q289280). I have entered the entries in the registry needed for jpeg (see MS topic Q299953 and Q230902). I installed a fix for MS Paint from Microsoft (this fixes 95 and NT only). The MS Paint fix does not work for Win98se nor Win2000. Can I get MS Panit to open and save jpeg files and keep MS Phot Editor?
