SBS Internet Access

Hi. I babysit an SBS 4.0 server. a few months ago, I changed it so that it had a direct connection to the net as opposed to dial on demand. Still had the funky problem of it saying dial up failed when using the client, but the work around seemed tobe to uncheck use proxy server in connections of IE. Until I installed W2K clients. I have added/removed/hacked the proxy client, and tried a few odds and ends at the server side as well.

Any suggestions?
