I need help troubleshooting a Windows 95 PC. I was doing routine maintenance on a PC. When running ScanDisk I received the following error:
ScanDisk was unable to finish correcting this error because the Top-Level folder on this drive is full. QuitScandisk delete some files from that folder and then restart ScanDisk.
I already cleaned up / deleted the files that were in the temorary internet files, the temp folder and the recycle bin, as well as any *.chk files.
I do not know what this Top-Level Folder is and I don’t know why it is saying it’s full. I have plenty of room on the hard drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
