schedule service vs task schedule servic

NT 4.0, sp6a. tried to schedule a command via AT but it did not run (command worked just fine manually). checked server and saw we were running Task Scheduler service not plain old Schedule service. Also in MyComputer we have Sched Task folder wheremy AT command was there in a GUI format. Tried to run from there and it got message “could not start”. How do I have task schedular and not the plain vanilla variety and why doesn’t it work. How/Do I want to, remove Task schedular and install the Schedule service? Thanks for any guidance.
