Screen saver problem in win2k pro.

I recently installed win2k pro. It is running great except for screen savers. They freeze up….scrolling marquis ticks accross the screen and mouse freezes. I updated it with win2k sp2 and this did nothing. This dell system is well above the minimum requirements for win2k pro.
Has anyone seen this problem? No moving screen savers work properly. Help…
