SCSI card needed?

I want to add and external Iomega ZIP drive to a computer at work. I was given one needing a SCSI connection. Is there such thing as a SCSI device that uses a USB?? Considering that this is a ZIP drive, does he gain anything by going with SCSI in the first place?
