Scsi cd-rom

Good Morning scsi gurus,I am just getting into scsi.So far things are good.Learnt jumper configuration,have set up a system with two scsi drives,a 4mm dat tape backup &
plextor cd-rom.Will install member server to
learn Exchange 5.5.Duplicated thescenario through the book i am studying “MASTERING Microsoft EXCHANGE SERVER”By Barry Gerber.I am used to installing NT from ide cd-rom option on bios.In my scsi case,enabled to boot from scsi,disabled symbios in cmos,unfortunately it does not boot.Went the floppy route,Got the message about the dos part of installation.It does not see my hdd.any thoughts will be welcome,Thanx-Aziz
