security warning message

As i explained in a previous question, I had a hijacker on my desktop that caused a security warning message to appear. Now I can’t get rid of the message. the warning was”FATAL ERROR IN IE 0028:COOLIE36IN VDKVMM<01>*00010E36″ The trojan has been eliminated but warning won’t go away even after updating security. HELP!
